    "Ganta City Startup Initiative" in Partnership with The Startup Bug

    Sponsored by IREX and supported by the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Embassy Monrovia, and the Mandela Washington Fellowship.

     

    This initiative successfully reach 20 Liberian youth and allowed them to participate in a three-day program where they learned digital literacy skills like typewriting and social media, and a number of introductory entrepreneurship skills. By the end of the program the students had formed teams and pitch startup ideas to a panel of local entrepreneurs.

     

    The program was supported by an IREX Reciprocal Exchange, a U.S. program designed to connect African and American experts.
